Its a scam I get the message a lot from 799 asking me to send my mother's maiden name, and I'm like wtf does MTN want with my mother's name?? The message goes thus.;

hey buddy, its nt a scam, it is real. Once u send that maiden name MTN will credit u wth N400 recharge card. Jst like i said earlier, it is like mtn have misplace our sim reg info. So they r trying to get it. Cn u imagine a multinatnal company like mtn cn b dat careless. I thnk they shld b sanction by NCC.
