Been on the road for the past couple of weeks, traversing the nooks and crannies of Naija.Observing and interacting with fellow Nigerians who despite the myriad of problems confronting them on daily basis, have chosen to live.

Often times, due to the stress of every day life, stress of living in an environment where things seem not to work, where life seems uncertain. We tend to forget to appreciate our environment, our friends, the people we interact with on daily basis, who despite the problems, manage to keep a smile on their face. Sadly, we get so carried away with surviving that we live our lives as if we never lived........as if we never existed.

To all the good people i met on my field trip, who have never had the benefit of having clean water in their communities, who do not know what it means to sleep and wake with electricity, have no health facilities, have no roads to their respective communities, who do not have access to schools for their kids, and struggle to earn a decent living, farming, fishing and carrying out other forms of occupation. Yet,had a smile on their face and were eager to extend the traditional African hospitality to a stranger,I doff my hat. People who have truly dared to live despite the circumstances of birth........ I respect your resilience to live!

Please come with me as we take a trip to Nigeria's forgotten communities. Come take a look at the good, the bad and the ugly through the eyes of my ever loyal camera.
