TITLE: WELLNESS OFFICER

REPORTING TO: CEO

CORE OF THE JOB
To develop and implement a useful employee wellbeing programmes for governments and companies. Execute marketing strategies / plan to promote and market to identified organizations for a profit.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Minimum of a Bachelors degree preferably in the medical sciences such as Pharmacy, Nursing, Public Health, Human Kinetics etc from a recognized Nigerian or foreign university
• 3-5 years experience in Wellness or health care related environment
• Experience in wellness evaluation and test such as Total blood cholesterol, body max index, blood pressure and resting heart rate as they relate with wellbeing.
• Understanding of wellbeing and staff performance /organizational goals


SKILLS
• A Wellbeing Manager must possess strong communication and leadership traits.
• He or she must be organized and energetic and have at least a basic understanding of marketing
• Good presentation /Oral and writing skills
• Listening Skills
• Project Management Skills
• Flexible and creative to solving problems
• Smart and able to own the department
• Computer Literacy (Microsoft office suite)


KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
• Building a winning wellbeing programme for targeted companies
• Ability to make companies buy into the useful programme (marketing experience will be a strong advantage
• Execution of the programme successfully
• Creating strings of happy client base
• Must be able to work well in a team
• Management of resources (people (temps), budget and assets)
• Must be independent with little supervision
