The march didnt just happen in only Ibadan.There was one in Lagos,another in Ilorin and I am proud to say that there was one in Calabar which I was part of. It was awesome being a part of the above hundred and twenty young people who stood their ground in the city of Calabar advocating Sexual purity. I forever remain an advocate of sexual purity. NO-SUM:NO Sex Until Marriage. Present your bodies as a living sacrifice,holy and acceptable unto God.That's the best form of Worship.

I was dumbfounded to read guys condemning the campaign, jeez.

For those who don't know, sex... immorality is amongst the things destroying our dear nation today.

Marriages are failing even before they are started. Homes are breaking. Unwanted pregnancies here and there leading to increased national population and unequal life amenities.

Infidelity amongst married people due to this same trend of sleeping around which they most times can't curtail even when they marry.

Increased divorce rates resulting from infidelity as a result of women comparing their past sex experience when single with the one they now have when married.

The increased rate of talking about- my ex this and that, that sometimes lead women to cheating on their spouses.

Once we are able to achieve NO SEX TILL MARRIAGE in Nigeria, our societal problem will be half solved honestly.

We need to copy from Indians where it is a taboo for a girl to meet her husband non-virgin. We all need to contribute to this campaign and commend it.

Pls I would encourage the organisers of this campaign to pls hold it bi-monthly pls. And pls take the campaign to all Nigerian campuses (polytechnics, colleges of education and universities) if possible.

I want to also call on bloggers to pls join in promoting this instead of promoting immoralities by the so-called celebrities.

And Nigeria censorship body also have a role to play by monitoring the movies and musical videos produced by NOLLYWOOD and PMAN.

If you want to condemn immorality, biko don't be like the Pharisees who condemned only the woman caught in adultery. Thank God the initiative targets both boys and girls.

You are a Christian so you should know that it's not only about the physical consequences which we can argue affects girls more but spiritual which affects both genders equally.

DailyNews: My dear, I understand you but even in the Bible, female virginity was greatly stressed upon, and it also encouraged everyone to practice chastity.

Naturally, there is no way to detect a male virgin, it is between the man and his God to decide because there is no physical proof like we do have in a female virgin.

And if you had been reading my comments here and any other place, I am one major campaigner of abstinence from both male and female, and I don't do it to win any e-admiration or cheer up, but only preaching what I know its right as specified in the Holy Bible.

You can never hear or read me talking about male virginity becos there is no proof, its between the man and his God, that's y I don't waste my time preaching that cos some guys who mess around with women can still come out to claim virgins, what proof do u have to disqualify their claim?

Teenage pregnancy, materialism, increased rates of HIV/STDs/STIs infections are all manifestations of people indulging in sex before marriage, which is wrong and bad!

This march ought to be held nationwide on a weekly basis, and broadcast on all national TV stations, etc.

Our nation is getting so rotten we really need some control measures, and all must join hand in campaigning against this present waywardness amongst the Nigerian populace.

Wherever u go now, all u see is one actress going half naked and promoting sex before marriage and destroying our nation, and now that some people are out to campaign against it, sane people with their thinking faculties in place are condemning it just because it doesn't suit their present lifestyle. Nonsense!!!!

The Bible expects sexual purity from both male and female. This is not the issue of proof or not. As you saying that sexual purity is not important for males because we can't prove it?
