Nobody seems to like this country anymore.. Bonus for a draw... When they should be holding their heads in shame. Anyways, I cant blame them, in a sporting career, one needs to grab as much as they can whilst they can.. One injury and its game over for them. Plus, why should they be patriotic when nobody else is. |

The Nff should have told them they are playing for charity. Making empty promises just doesn't work PDPwayoo: Sam okwaraji plays for charity. George Weah spends his personal money for his country football. Where is patriotism? shame on them for making stupid headlines over bonus. |

PDPwayoo: Sam okwaraji plays for charity. George Weah spends his personal money for his country football. Where is patriotism? shame on them for making stupid headlines over bonus. From what I gathered, the Presidential Task Force setup to ensure Eagles qualified for the last Worldcup increased the Eagles bonus to $10,000 to motivate them and eventually,Eagles qualified. It seems the NFF maintained the same amount until now.According to NFF,they said they couldnt continue the payment as the glasshouse is currently financially handicapped.Anyway,NFF takes the blame for the whole mess because the level of corruption is on the high.Too bad, they have given the Eagles the reason to holdon to should they perform woefully at the tournament. |

hollandis:You are a BIGGER FOOL. He dat works rightfully deserve 2 b paid. How is it now a taboo 4 SE 2 demand 4 their pay?? Wat happend 2 d money NFF got from AFCON victory? Were they drunk wen dey promised dem 10K dollars? Wen NFF realised dat d payment wznt feasible, d normal tin 2 do was 2 let d captain and d senior players kno instead dey felt their opinion do not count. Dnt u kno dat by mere qualifying 4 dis confed cup competition, u get paid sum money by FIFA. Where is d money? ? Keshi until now has not YET been paid his salaries from January till date and u are here ranting abt patriotism. NFF officials are corrupt. If dats d only way d SE would get wat rightfully belongs 2 dem, then i have no objection 2 dat. 1 Like |

I dont blame the boys in anyway. Nigeria is a country that recoqnises ur talents and make us of them when u are relevant the moment anything on the contrary comes up, u are on ur own. Take a look at our footbal heroes past and other grate men and women in the sport arena as well as those in other field of endavors what happen to them now? what of the pensioneers what has happenned to them? We are all aware of how certain pple have used their moneies and how the cases has been going on in courts. Come to think of it, considerring the relevance of these players to the history of soccer to Nigerian economy, is this the right timming for the leaders to have allowed this issues to come up? This is certainly not properly handled and shows weakness in the footbal managers skill in Nigeria however, I wish our heroes well in this tournament. |

Wale112: Nigeria will lose all their matches. Ivory coast or Ghana should have represented Africa not this useless team who cry over bonus. You're thrash like those teams you mentioned. Nigeria eliminated CIV and Ghana was no match for Mali that Nigeria gave nice 4 goals or Burkina (SE's wife). That's called standard. Nigeria has set standard for other African teams to follow. Even if Nigeria lost all their matches which can never happened, it's not for team like CIV or Ghana to complain or analyze. So Shut The Fucck Up! Enemy of progress! |
