Part Time Accounts Officer

JOB SUMMARY
You will be responsible for the establishment and coordination of accounting regime and operation, procedures and resources to facilitate best organizational accounting procedure. This position is part time with a view of becoming full time in future.

Responsibilities:
• Provide Accurate, Up-to-date financials and efficient record-keeping
• Make sure clients are billed correctly and pay on time, and accounts are current.
• ACCOUNTS PAYABLE: Accept and post payments, Receive and post invoices, and coordinate payment
• ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE: make deposits, send out invoices and statements, keep receivables current, and follow up to help ensure that accounts are paid on time
• RECONCILE ACCOUNTS: Balance, books, and provide month-end reports
• INVOICE AND STATEMENT BILLING: Create invoices for clients, and then follow-up to payment stage.
• PAYROLL AND QUARTERLY TAX FILING: payroll and quarterly tax reports are accurately prepared and filed on time.
• Assist CEO in writing business plans
• Track inventory, set reorder points & create purchase orders
• Forecast sales & expenses
• Create industry-specific reports
• Assist in writing customised business reports to gain insights into your business.

Qualification and Requirement:
• Must have a minimum qualification of OND/ATS/HND
• Good communication skills
• Have flair for serving people
• Must have the ability to pay attention to details
• Must be able to use Accounting packages.
• Must have the ability to prioritize tasks and be a self-starter
• Must possess excellent presentation and analytical skills
• Must have excellent organizational skills and diplomacy


You must have excellent communication skills and pro-active attitude, strong interpersonal and organizational skills; Team player, ability to work under pressure and Ability to work independently and take initiative.
