The super eagles of Nigeria yesterday played their opener against Group B opponents, Tahiti who are Oceania champions. Although the super eagles won the match with a harvest of goals,many have continued to express doubt in the team stressing that the lack the clinical approaches needed to progress in the tournament.players like anthony ujah,sunday mba,brown ideye,ahmed musa were all seen flopping in front of goal.
Well,I wish to hear your views about their performances individually and as a team.

Sunday Mbah and Anthony Ujah should be benched in the next match. Ideye could have done better if he started.
We have a world-class play-maker MUSA and sharp striker ODUAMADI.
the team did very well. But why was Keshi sitting like he was in a kindred meeting for 90mins, he was never communicating with the players and that resulted in some minor flops in the second half.

Why must people always complain?

They won the AFCON, won their first match in the confederations cup, and are undefeated since 2011. We are also progressing nicely in our world cup qualifiers.


At the same time...Keshi was almost fired by GEJ.
None of the AFCON matches were broadcast on Naija tv.
Our leaders refused to go to the AFCON final.
Our boys have been underpaid and the sports minister has been chopping their money.
And soo many Nigerians called their own national team the Super Chickens.

I love these Super Eagles. They force you to respect them.

On a scale of 10, I rate them 4/10

The Nigerian team always play according to their opponent's strength. They will do better against Uruguay and Spain

6/10 - I am not a football pundit but Tahiti's one goal was the best goal of the match. Although we came out with the 3 points there were several missed opportunities that shows that if we had faced a better team we might not stand.

They shouldn't be surprise if both Uruguay and Spain cannot achieve that impressive score line. We played okay, the quality of opposition wont allow us to express ourselves.

I also saw a referee sent by Blatter as usual, to protect the Tahitians from embarrassment and humiliation. Lastly, its a common sense in sport that when your opponent is very week (as in 2 places above Afghanistan), you have to respect them

All i can say is that we've got no striker. Ideye, musa, ujah even d oduamadi sef.....i dnt knw wat is happening. Musa is d most insulted but i guess without him we wouldnt have scored so many goals. Damn! that guy got pace...the spanish & uruguayans will surely be planning to nail him down! All i jst want keshi to do now, is to work on d strikers....they've lack accuracy, consistency & balance.

The Tahitian are champions representing some group of people, we like commonising people and that is not good. We fail to understand that it is not easy playing against a lesser opponent, the Eagle tried I beg. If they have lost nko, people wey neva kick water go de shout.

In three words: unprofessional, wasteful and disappointing!
