The United Middle Belt Youth Congress (UMBYC) has commended Governor Gabriel Suswam of Benue State for pulling out of the Northern Governors Forum (NGF), describing the development as one that will further liberate the people of the region from long political enslavement.

In a communiqué issued at the end of its executive meeting in Lagos State over the week and signed by Abuka Omababa and Abass Chioji, President General and Secretary General respectively and made available to Daily Newswatch, the group called on Suswam to urgently reach out to his colleagues from the Middle Belt region and form the Middle Belt Governors Forum (MBGF), where according to them, issues of mutual interest to the region can be addressed effectively.
