Upon the dissolution of the LAWSAN Exco of 2011/2012 the mantle of leadership was passed down to the Ojong Woda led 2012/2013 Exco. With a clarion call for an effective change in the welfare and running of Law students especially as it related to chambers Activities.
The Government in addressing this problem had several meetings with heads of chambers which led to a consensus that chamber activities must be rejuvenated. Few months into their tenure their has been plethora of moot trials raging from intra faculty to inter faculty moot trials and debate. One of which Culminated in Roots chambers of justice UNical defeating their counterpart from UNIUYO in an invitational debate .
Also the most outstanding chambers in the Faculty, VICTOR NDOMA-EGBA chambers of justice engage its 300L partners in moot trails that bothered on the Nigerian Criminal justice system. In what can described as an EPIC BATTLE OF BRAINS AND WITS, saw the Dir. Of Information COMR. Uzzi Anthony give some scintillating performance.
All in all the Ojong Woda led excos have proved ones again that they are men of not just justice but honor by keeping to their promise of rejuvenating moot trials.
