A Senior Lecturer at Ogun State-owned Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye, Dr. Gbenga Dally and two other persons have died in a multiple road accident, Wednesday evening along Abeokuta/Sagamu road.

Six other passengers were also injured in the accident and are currently receiving treatment in a hospital.

Eye witnesses say the crash happened at about 6.25p.m close to Onipepeye Village, a few kilometres near Abeokuta. Three vehicles including a Toyota Camry (number: LAGOS ‘AAA 181 AA’) driven by one chief Akinfimogboye of Egbaland were involved in the accident.

An eye witness say one of the vehicles skidded off the road after the driver lost control and jumped the culvert, facing another oncoming vehicle.

The Egba chief’s car was also crushed from behind by a truck.

Ogun State Command of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) has confirmed the incidence, stating that eight persons were injured in the accident.
