How long do u think it will take for apple to adopt the Android OS either as an option on the iPhone or simply merge the current OSX with Android and create a customized version of Android?

Will never happen. The current OS is plenty capable enough, and with the launch of the App Store next month expect to see a plethora of quality apps hit the itunes store.

No need for Apple to go down the Android route.

there u have the list of 50 that made it 2 the next stage of the Android challenge. So nobody from Nairaland rose up 2 the challenge? lol

@pete

from what i have read, the Android OS is way better than iPhone OSX especially in terms of stability and security. For instance, with security iPhone runs all applications as root, whereas Android creates a separate user for each application thereby ensuring each app runs in it's own sandbox and compromising one app doesn't lead to pwing the rest. of course the OS security architecture in 1.2.0 may be more similar to Android. who knows.
