Human rights activist, Mr. Femi Falana (SAN), has asserted that the Judiciary was no longer the last hope of the common man, saying the high cost of justice in the country has made it impossible for the poor masses to access justice. He made the assertion while delivering a lecture at the launch of the annual law journal, The Jurist, of the Law Students’ Society (LSS), University of Ilorin. The lecture entitled: “The anti-corruption war in the Nigerian judiciary: How far? How well?”, the learned silk lamented that the common man was economically disabled from having a field day in the court.
