The Acting National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Tony Okeke, said on Tuesday that the party will retain its pre-eminent position in the nation’s political arena come 2015.

Mr. Okeke stated this during a chat with journalists in Abuja, just as he declined comments on the fate of a former National Secretary of the Party, Olagunsoye Oyinlola, ahead of the convention as the matter is still in court.

Mr. Oyinlola had in a letter to the National Convention Committee, NCC, faulted plans to conduct election into the office of the National Secretary, which he said is still in contention in court.
