Bicourtney was under the build, operate and transfer agreement was billed to spend 89.53bn naira on the Lagos - ibadan expressway. Expanding it to 5lanes on either side,modernization which included street lights,ambulance points,weigh bridges,security posts.4yrs after the contract sum has doubled with a reduction in the scope of work to reconstruction of the existing 2 lanes alone..what could be responsible for the inflation in contract sum? Is this not a case of indirect looting? I think the senate should investigate this. |

I agree with YOU! How come the price has doubled in about only 4 years for LESS WORK! Nigerians WAKE UP and stop this scam of a contract NOW! Better leave the road as it is and hand it over to Ogun, Oyo and Lagos States! [size=18pt]89.53bn ========> 10 LANES IN ALL, from Lagos all the way to OJO in Ibadan, towards OYO N160.7bn ========> 4 LANES from Lagos to Ibadan, 2 LANES from Lagos to Ogun State! ======== N 71.17b =========> DIFFERENCE, Almost TWICE the previous price within 4 YEARS![/size] They want to turn this road into another Benin - Ore road! |
