If people are not decent enough to hold their parties indoors or in a park with canopies like civilized people then laws should be in place to force them to comply.
What right does anyone have to prevent people from enjoying their own homes and streets in peace.
Thank God for that sane Governor.
Anyone that hates the law should move to Ekiti grin

Lagos has enough traffic problems without street parties slowing up traffic further. Abeg ban all of them, including religious ceremonies that spill onto the road.

why can't the party be held in the celebrant's backyard?
why should it be in the public street blocking people who are going to work and use their day productively?
which way foward Nigeria?

since when is it Nigerian culture to hold parties on public streets? It's not your property so why prevent others from using it?
if it is indeed a Nigerian culture, it is a backward culture that needs to be banned. Thanks Fashola!
