We are currently Recruiting to fill the position of a Sales Associate in a Fashion Retail Firm.

Job Description:

1. Welcome customers into the shop.
2. Be involved in stock control and management.
3. Assist shoppers to find the goods and products they are looking for.
4. Be responsible for processing cash and card payments.
5. Stock shelves with merchandise.
6. Report discrepancies and problems to the production supervisor and/or managing director.
7. Give advice and guidance on product selection to customers.
8. Balance cash registers with receipts.
9. Deal with customer refunds.
10. Keep the store tidy and clean, this includes hovering and mopping.
11. Deal with customer complaints.
12. Work within established guidelines, particularly with brands.
13. Attach price tags to merchandise on the shop floor.
14. Responsible for security within the store and being on the look out for shoplifters and fraudulent cheques etc.
15. Receive and store the delivery of large amounts of stock
16. Be up to date with special promotions and putting up displays.


Candidate Must:
1. Have a minimum qualification of OND
2. BE FEMALE
3. Be comfortable working with members of the public.
4. Be confident
5. Be helpful and polite.
6. Be physically fit as he/she will be on his/her feet for most of the day and may be required to lift large amounts of stock.
7. Have a comprehensive understanding of your area of sales i.e. retail.
8. Be able to work as part of a sales team.
9. Have Knowledge of inventory techniques.
10. Have a smart appearance and be articulate.
11. Have Excellent management & organizational skills
12. Be Able to work under pressure and with minimum supervision
13. Have Good problem solving skills
