honey86:I wasn’t going to say anything but Lol how is that rude , next time you too should at least have researched to an extent then or even a bit because a simple google search would have told you Canada is one of the countries that offer citizenship by birth(Now you know better) , before coming to say certain things in public forums. After you’ve said wrong things and they come for you then you start covering up by at least we learn everyday . SMH ♀️ . Just accept you said the wrong thing initially but you know better now 1 Like |

Woafavour:Travel history is considered as part of ties neither can anyone say outright what’s on the mind of the consular(for some it may or may not be sufficient), if your “friend” can prove / show ties to Nigeria then the visa will be issued (note that ties can vary) You can read up the stories of those who’ve been issued visas over the past few months and see their situations if it’s somewhat similar |

Good day all. Thank you for all the contributions. After delivery, when applying for baby's passport or birth certificate, is one's husband required to sign any documents? Since hubby is not with me in Canada, what can be done? |
Re: Giving Birth In Canada by Hotstepper(f): 4:40pm On Jun 11, 2019 |
The question has been dealt with several times here. Fill the passport application, take it to the passport office and the officer will tell you exactly what to do which is to give you ur application no to send to ur hubby. ur hubby is to go with his int passport to canada consult office to sign the docs. After signing, it will be faxed bk to the passport office u applied at. udezue33: 4 Likes 1 Share |

Ronnie1984:Ask your family doctor for an appointment for your sister. When she gets to Canada, let her go for her appointment with and get him to refer you to an oby/gynae. Or you could search on google for oby/gynae in Edmonton and call them if they accept patients without insurance. that was what i did. check my story, I used Missericordia in Edmonton 1 Like |

Hi. I'm in Edmonton, Alberta to have my baby. Just wanted to be sure of the steps after delivery as hubby isn't with me. I think I'ld be better informed and able to share any useful experience as time goes by. mizGene: 1 Like |

So I and wifey have done biometrics yesterday in Lagos. We are hoping we get our visa quickly cos she is already 32 weeks gone. Application was done online submitted 7th June. Ontario is our choice destination. Let the countdown begin. Best of luck to all expectant momas in the house. @Hotstepper your help will be needed I believe. Cc: Omobendel 1 Like |

Hotstepper:Amen ooh. My sister na the same US bull crap oh. Then someone said if US denies you, Canada too will. Thought so until someone else countered that claim and then I found this thread and saw the back and forths plus testimonies of people who were denied US but got Canada. |
