As Stephen Keshi prepares to lead the home-based Super Eaglesteam against the Elephants of Cote d’Ivoire on Saturday in Kaduna, reports on theBBCstate that the coach has not received his salary since January.
The Nigeria Football Federation (Nff) Secretary General, Musa Amadu told theBBC: “Between the federation and the coaching crew, we don't have a problem.
"We've been working together withStephen Keshi since November 2011 and he knows the peculiar financial situation of things with the federation.”
Keshi, as well as assistant coaches Daniel Amokachi and Ike Shorunmu are being owed though Amadu believes that this situation has not affected the coaches working relationship with the Nff.
"We try as much as possible to pay our obligations, likewise the coach, and we've had a very good working relationship.
Amadu also said the coaches have not complained though some peoplemight want to make more of the unpaid salary situation.
"I know the coach will not bring to the fore any such matters. Perhaps there are people out there that wantto capitalise on such matters to create problems between the federation and the coach.
"But I know that obligations to the coaching crew are always settled, and we do have the understanding of the coaching crew in this regard."We appreciate that understanding and right now the focus is not aboutwhat is being written in the media but it is on the CHAN qualifiers,” Amadu added.

The head coach of African champions owed 5months salary.
This is awkwardly pathetic!
NFF WOULD NEVER SUCCEED IN TARNISHING THE GOOD IMAGE OF GEJ'S ADMINISTRATION.
