mbulela: You are entitled to your own opinion, but never your own facts. You are wrong on so many levels and I'll pick them out one by one. 1. There's absolutely no need to defend anything before you especially your opinion that's not rooted in facts and reality. 2. You have zero proof to stand on, and you can not substitute facts with innuendos, sentiments, suggestions. You can not take your baseless argument and opinion to any court of law and get any kind of conviction and that's even if they didn't throw you out and fine you for wasting the court's time. 3. Tinubu's daughter was next in line for that position so her ascendancy was automatic based on democratic norms and principle. 4. Unlike Patience Jonathan, Iyalojoa is a non governmental position and she was not appointed by the state and the state is not paying her salary. That was a crude and bogus analogy. 5. No rightful candidate was denied any position in favor of Tinubu's daughter so the only thing driving your bogus argument is the name Tinubu You are free to speculate and hold on to your opinion, but please get over yourself and quit thinking people owe you any explanation or excuse. |

plaindealer: Some people simply have no idea how prejudice against a name now makes them appear more similar to the ALUU lynch mob than to a reasonable, eduated and law-abidding person who knows when to give up and simply say "if you say so, as the stakeholder, then that is good enough for me". Imagine this. The poster you responded to, i.e Mbulela, has a friend who went to jail. This Mbulela chap then goes around saying that the friend was sexually abused in prison because Mbulela's own personal prejudice and conviction makes him believe that this is what happens 100% to every male who is jailed. The friend approaches Mbulela to tell him "respect me and stop spreading rumours. I was not sexually abused in prison even if that happened to others. Respect my testimony as the involved Party, stop the lies and let this go". Mbulela goes away from that conversation only to carry on gleefully spreading malicious rumours over something he convinced himself happened , because of personal prejudice and nothing else, even as he was not present to witness what he claims happened and has no tangible proof whatsoever to validate his allegation. What does that make Mbulela? I know many words to describe such a person who will not respect involved stakeholders who say they are happy with the choice they made willingly. Many reasonable people know when to admit that their own personal suspicion and conviction cannot substitute what eye-witnesses and stakeholders insist is the official version of events. |

plaindealer:Absolutely nothing crude nor bogus about the analogy. Both are rooted in nepotism.Leveraging the common good for the benefit of kith and kin without regard for merit. you call the analogy crude because it does not suit your pre conceived conclusion. |

mbulela: The very same reason you react senselessly and irrationally to the Tinubu name, to begin making baseless accusations, is why you called Igbokwe a liar to begin with. Did Igbokwe speak on the personal Iyaloja ambition of Tinubu's daughter she is entitled to as an involved stakeholder? Of course he did not because he cannot !!!! He is not her spokesman. He is spokeman for the ACN and he commented to tell obstinate and unreasonable people like you that ACN/Tinubu is not involved in market affairs!!! You are the one who chose not to believe that !!!! Furthermore, Igbokwe can't tell Tinubu's daughter what to do or what not to do in pursuit of her own personal ambition unrelated to his Party. Igbokwe can only tell you what his Party is involved in or not concerned with at all. Whether you believe him or not does not make him a liar. In fact, every time you open your mouth to make baseless accusations, you are clearly disrespecting the many stakeholders who have told you that their business is an internal affair and that they, not Tinubu, chose the Iyaloja they wanted. If you cannot respect those stakeholders why would I expect or even want your respect? That is why I told you to shove such. You are too arrogant to see how disrespectful you are in relation to an issue you should just concede defeat over. You have your suspicion but stakeholders have come out to tell you your suspicion is wrong. They have told you they made their own choice willingly and freely. When do you then accept it is time to put down your baseball bats, machete et al and head on home instead of continuing your ALUU antics from thread to thread? Look below to see that it is your lack of refinement that now leaves you owing Igbokwe an apology for calling him a liar. The man said the ACN is not involved with "installing" Tinubu's daughter as Iyaloja. He did not tell you that her fellow market stakeholders did not have the power, independence or right to do that if that is what they wanted. Your ALUU behaviour is just shameful. The only thing that would have justified you calling Igbokwe a liar is if you can prove you saw Igbokwe or any other ACN member actively concerning themselves with the affairs of the market folks. If you have a problem, take it to the the authorised individuals in the Market men/women board. Your continuous ranting over this business, and stalking others from thread to thread with such, is now embarrassing. http://premiumtimesng.com/regional/139536-lagos-acn-denies-reports-of-tinubu-appointing-daughter-as-market-leader.html Lagos ACN denies reports of Tinubu appointing daughter as market leader |

advocate007: I think femi Gbajiamila(minority leader, house of reps.) will do as a good successor of Fashola I think it is better for it to be someone closely involved with Fashola in Lagos than a legislator who is in Abuja most of the time and will have a lot to learn. |

jmaine: Tinubu won't be that silly to attempt a stunt in making his wife succeed Fashola . . . . E go too backfire .. . This is the bottom line. There are many others working closely with Fashola who are already up to speed with everything ongoing in the State. It would be hard to make a meritorious pitch for a Senator who works in Abuja and would need to learn so much. The likes of Obafemi Hamzat, who is commissioner of works and infrastructure and very much like Fashola, enjoy good general support. If people wish to work themselves into a frenzy at the mention of "Tinubu" then so be it Nonetheless, it must be mentioned that Lagos is 'loaded' with many fine administrators at the moment and , as you stated, it would backfire if the likes of Hamzat, directly involved and doing a good job as works and infrastructure commissioner, are ignored for less competent individuals. I genuinely believe the SW has gone past that stage. Regardless of what some think, Tinubu knows that Lagos is bigger than him. http://www.lagosstate.gov.ng/principalofficers.php?k=1534&ek=40 RESUME OF ENGR. DR. KADRI OBAFEMI HAMZAT |

Gbawe:That he knows that Laogs is bigger than him is a matter of your personal opinion. There is no factto back that up. As a matter of fact, some people see trends to prove that he is growing bigger than the state and what he says goes, even in his party the ACN. What has Tinubu ever endorsed within the ACN that was refused on the altar of the majority in the name of democracy? The party seems to be a personal machinery for achieving his political and business interests. You all keep mouthing Obama's 'strong institutions and not strong men' mantra. Is this how our polity will develop strong democratic institutions? One where the Manor of Bordillion is the alpha and omega? |
