Growing up in the 80s and 90s, Christmass holiday period is the time when every or most xtians travel to their towns and villages in order to connect with their families. This period also coincide with a season when every member of the family from far and wide come together to share the feelings and joy of the moment.

Growing up, we do slaughter a cow on the 24th of december in d presence of every member of the family. In this scenario, the wives would cook, the guys would be in charge of the meat, the men or d fathers would make sure that beer and wine flows in the right proportion...lol..... Every body would eat and make merry to his or her satisfaction.

On the 25th of december which is xmas day, everybody would be in his best dresses. The children would visit their peers frm another family members. Money and food would be given to us and its always fun and fun..... Whenever I remember those periods, I use to wonder if such a period can be revitalised again......kindly share ur xmas childhood experience
