The Super Eagles’ gaffer, Stephen
Keshi, has intensified move for a
stiffer sanction on Chelsea of England
enforcer, John Obi Mikel, following a
row that engulfed the national team’s
camp at the Confederations Cup in
Brazil.
Competent sources revealed that the
Super Eagles’ camp was thrown in a
pandemonium as the coaches failed
to adhere with their earlier agreement
of introducing Austin Ejide for
fumbling Vincent Enyeama against
Spain.
Mikel was vexed by this development
as he openly demonstrated his
objection to the coaches’ decision by
uttering some words in Hausa
language and was translated to the
Super Eagles’ handler by his assistant,
Daniel Amokachi.
Our source stated: “Until Keshi and
Mikel’s relationship got sour, the
Chelsea star was the most respected
guy in camp and was enjoying all the
privileges that were available.
“The coaches invited him for short
meetings and it was at one of these
meetings that they agreed to list Ejide
(Austin) instead of Enyeama (Vincent)
for the Spain game but the coaches
reneged on their agreement.
“The head coach was not happy
about this and he has been seriously
thinking about of the disciplinary
action that will be meted on Mikel
over his attitude.”
The source hinted that Mikel is on the
verge of joining West Brom Albion of
England striker, Osaze Odemwingie,
and Fenebache of Turkey defender,
Joseph Yobo, who have been barred
under Stephen Keshi’s reign as the
Super Eagles’ gaffer.

Mikel is important in the SE. I think,if he is not happy with the.decision,it is expected of him to pass the message in the right atmosphere. Since, his been given the previledged of attending Coach meetings.

Which game did Enyiama fumble? The goals conceeded during the confederations cup was clearly not Enyeama's fault. Hope Mikel is not trying to show himself?
