What you just said makes sense only to an extent. You expected it to be rosy. It really isn't. |

From what you've written, i guess you're a rich ass from a wealthy home. You stayed there for just 5 days and travelled back because you saw Nigerians on the street living low lives? I guess you're not aware that people strive before they make it. You have to work hard for the opportunities that comes your way and not expecting any luck or well paying job. To me, this is not a lesson to be learnt. Rather, it's a piece of a nonsensical write up. 8 Likes 2 Shares |

i am a regular traveller to dubai,if you arent going there for business or for leisure just forget it,there are so many Nigerians wasting off in diera with nothing meaningful to do people that would have been better off in nigeria but on the street of a foriegn country wasting off hiding from immigration because they dont have residence permit the most annoying part is the fact that they cant leave deira becuase of fear of being caught by immigration 1 Like 1 Share |

falopey: Dubai is for the wise and calculated. The lady I talked about in my previous post is not a university graduate. And she earns about 1.2m naira equivalent now... I got an interview with a Saudi company in dubai, I almost got the job but my over sabi killed that opportunity. It was 9500aed per month. It's a lot easier to make it in Dubai than yankee. You just need to elevate yourself n package urself well well. Speak fluent English n lie of your experiences. See Dubai is like a place with 3 grounds.... 1. The muddy ground 2. The wet quick cement ground 3. The solid ground. Those lowlife Nigerians who feel menial jobs suit them fall in the wet quick cement ground n get stuck forever in misery n hard labour.... Those who find themselves in the muddy ground like myself still have hope for a brighter future. With hard work and other certification I can move on to the solid ground. I am entitled to a loan of 37,000aed just because I work in dubai.... Those in the solid ground work 5 days a week Salary from 9000aed upwards.... access to loans of upto 200,000aed that's N1 to 120aed..... Many Nigerians just like to rush without being calculative..... I know a guy who wasted his moms 3 million only to stay in Dubai for 3 weeks n spent 2 months in Iran because he was duped.... believing he had 3 months visa not knowing it was 2 weeks.... he ran made b4 he left Iran 4 Likes |

/ No matter what country/continent you migrate to, be it USA, Canada, Europe, Asia or Middle East; the first year will be very tough and rough. USA takes an average of 3 years to settle in. \ 8 Likes |

Was in Dubai August last year spent 5days in deira city. Saw lots of people wasting away not just Nigerians, Indians, Pakistanians and other nationals. A friend of mine bought a fake Galaxy from a Nigeria. Truth is you don't go to Dubai to hustle and you want to live in deira immediately, go to lesser places like sharja, you will see a community of Nigerians there. Again, 2 months Visa is meant for visitors and tourist not work seekers. Overall, Dubai is a great city,eye-catching buildings, great shopping malls, like carfour etc great night clubs if you are the type, I happened to attend both Indian and Ethiopian night clubs. Dubai is not for hustlers. Arabs are generally arrogant people with snubbish altitude. 1 Like 1 Share |
