It's turned out a blessing being unable to put finishing touches to my team before the deadline, though I had made needed transfers on time. Guess I might just escape being "disvirgined" like all others, even though opponent had to resort to wildcard. cheesy

Speaking in a press conference earlier today, the gaffer of Guapo musketeers Sir Bobby Guapo has stated that his team are in a transition period and would surely bounce back to mount a serious title challenge.

This is following a terrible run of form that has seen the Ottah outfit take a free fall on the log.

''When you're engulfed in a transition period, its not always favorable. The results go bad, your performances are shambolic and you have a free fall on the log, its obvious we're in one already.

Its not the best of times to point fingers and blame the board for failing to present a healthy fund for the team, we've found ourselves in this and we have to proffer a way out.

I wouldnt mind taking a drastic step in my pursuit to rescue our season, i may go on to put up the overrated key players for sale, revamp the team and tell you its the right step in the right direction, i'm the manager and its my call.

The fans have got to keep the faith, we'd be making few signings within the week and hopefully, our season would be back on track'' cool

Wow! What an impressive week the last turned out to be. Thrashed the table-topping Disvirginators with an 8-point deficit, even though they had to deploy wildcard. Impressive stuff. Guess things can only improve from here on. cool
