That's why I say Nigerian girls don't ever look as fine as they should unless they are wearing trad attire. I mean, some girls I wouldnt have looked twice at in the pictures we saw before look amazing in these trad pics. It just justifies my claim that all the weave in the world will not make a naija girl look good to me unless she wears gele on her head. 1 Like |

Virtually all the contestants for the Northern states are from Southern states. I can't take this as a contest which is representative of the people. I would have thought it was a religious matter, but even Plateau state?! |

Don't you have to be a certain size to compete for MBGN pageant? If someone isn't comfortable or toned for that matter, you'll notice despite where the prop is placed. Regardless I am a believer that the competition is about showing poise under pressure and overall health. |

InvertedHammer: //You are eligible to contest frm any location provided ur a nigerian. All u need is to pick a form frm a location u feel u have an edge over the others. Ibo gals knws the competition is very high in the east,so they run to northern states to pick their forms, cos the competition and turn out is usually poor in the northern states. |

chidyhels: Nah, I heard they select the girls in Lagos, and then just distribute states to them. Its very sad that they do that though because its not a true representation. They should do regional auditions and then allocate the states from there. |
