Another great work by Gov. Peter Obi.
But where is the central car park for those visiting the hospital and the Drs. and Nurses car park?
Abi the patients are not expected to come in cars?

Why is every where looking bushy....

The other time, someone posted some newly completed buildings somewhere in Umuhia (whatever!) with grown surrounding bushes...

Here we see a teaching hospital also surrounded by bush...do they want patients to be having snakes in the wards every night? tongue tongue

...and nobody should tell me that those electrical cables hanging overhead are permanent shocked shocked they should be taken underground pluuuzzzzeeeee!

Why are these yurubas that we know exactly the huts they come out from always spew trash?

Can't you see that work is still ongoing. Just finished the road network and the next phase is landscaping and planting of grass which am sure they must completed by now as the pix are about a month old.

Those brown roofs proved one thing....that Yorubas have been living in built up cities for hundred of years ago!

In the same cities ...you will see very modern architecture staying side by side with those old buildings....

It's a proof of old civilized existence....not the caves we have across the Niger less than 50 years ago.

It's our pride....

Clown I have now corrected you. The sub standard education you lots received is the reason why you people are largely backward and smiling in poverty that is worse than what we have in the north..

Oh my God! Are you this very slow!

So those living in the east just started living in the 21st century?

You have a point. it looks bushy and should be landscaped.

You do have to ask yourself, why you felt your only input here should be a criticism.

I know you are not Igbo, but lets not see everything as an opportunity to criticise efforts, mainly because it as done a region of the country, we feel we need to see as enemies.

The Yoruba versus Igbo versus Hausa tradition is only stopping Nigeria from moving forward.

Its time we all stopped it.

@bestview....the same goes for you. We all have poor areas that could do with some tlc in Nigeria it is not Yorubas alone......they also have nice buikldings, if you check the thread on Lagos Family homes.

Its enough now, let us stop this mindless tribalism.

Another set of low quality project from Obi, with billions gulped.
Just like the stock exchange he built at Onitsha.

Considering how long this man has been governor, I consider Anambra very unlucky !
This guy has ruralised the state.
But that whats happens when people in the state vote someone because he is Catholic.

Really Pathetic !

Here is an economy indicator..

This is SW appears as if they are still in the 1500 while that of SE is already in the 21st Century and moving into 22....

Let is be said now..lagos is not part of yuruba land. The last I checked lagos was opened up by FG as former FCT and Igbos and Hausas. That is why Igbos and Hausas has the largest stakes holding the economy of lagos till today. The choicest areas were acquired by these two groups, leaving yurubas at Oshodi and Agege areas..

Oyo, Ekiti, Ondo, Oshu, Ogon are the real and proper yuruba states. If you want to know their ingenuity travel to one of those states I mentioned. I bet you will be shocked to the marrow as to what are they still doing in the 1500, whilst the rest of the country led by East are already in the 21st century. grin grin

At the end of the day, I am not into this Igbo versus Yoruba stuff......I am not joining you in that.

At the end of the day, if you want to find underdeveloped places, ALL regions of Nigeria has them. I agree that Lagos had a special situation being the economic and political power for many years, before Abuja came to be.

It is true that all people who live there for the most part have contributed to the good and bad there. That goes for Yoruba, Igbo and Hausa.

As far as teaching hospital....the greenery around the teaching hospital does not look its best and the build does not reflect what a newly built hospital should look like, in 2013. Having said that, at least it was built and it is a new addition.

we are excluding Lagos cos as a matter of fact, igbos have finer houses there than d Yorubas.

Bestview is talking about those shanties called towns in the SW. U can never/ must never compare SW family and village houses to those in the SE.

Its a pity because almajirism doesnt yield enough money.

As I said earlier I am not into this them versus us thing....besides, all the fine houses you may see......unless you know the owner, you won't know their tribe. The same with horrible houses.
