Soludo Joins APGA As A Gubernatorial Aspirant by Francis5: 6:08pm On Jul 29, 2013 |
I do not really care about the undercurrents leading to Soludo's move to APGA, but I suggest that all Aspirants in APGA should coalesce around Soludo. He is the only one amongst them who has the intellectual, economical, relational and pragmatic skills to take Anambra to the next level. If Anambra is well, followed by Abia, then Igboland is well, economically. Soludo all the way. Thank you for avoiding the PDP and the lure of those small parties. Now it's Soludo all the way. I don't mind working for him just to make sure he wins this election (by the way you can reach me through my email address if you are interested in my services). His nearest opponents are Ngige and Uba. Ngige will lose so many votes because of his affiliation with the ACN. There's nothing that an average Anambra Igbo hates more than having their governor receive orders from Tinubu and all those Ofenmanu people at the helm of affairs in ACN. 17 Likes |

i always suspected that something was amiss when soludo made that statement about obi laying foundation for anambra greatness.i guess onlytruth knew what he was saying when he said nothing was impossible in politics.... I wonder how the average anambara north guy would feel about obi now?by the way do they mean by 2bn bond? |

wow!!! Yes! Yes!! Yes!!! I was just about getting ready to crush some online oafs... (and remind them they are dreamers and still dreaming... ) but then this news has made me all smiles! I am sooo happy!!! By God's grace, may this man succeed. by God's grace, may all Anambarians give this accomplished man all the support he needs! I believe in this man so much and have no doubt that he has what it takes to make the state an economic super giant.... from the day I got a glimpse of his platform ideas for the state.. I was shocked why he wasn't elected running against Obi... I thought the masses will see that indeed a man of greatness with proven skills of performance and economic emancipation ... that gave rise to the middle class in Nigeria that now so many of our youths are making much more money that their parents in the government are... imagine how much he can do in a state then.... Obi should throw his whole weight behind him.... Chris should stay in the senate... yeah he may have performed during his short term as governor... but I mean... eve he himself should see how qualified CS is... but I am sure the Igbo spirit of competition will still make Chris Ngige and others to run against him... but again... May God lead this man, by His grace... to the seat of governor... change, rapid change... will be coming y'all!!!! I cant wait to see what his campaign slogan will be.... Soludo! Solu-oganiru!!! Iseeeee!!!!! Francis-1: 6 Likes |

Firstly, I'll say Gov. Obi screwed up by bringing divisive politics into Anambra State. Which one is North, South, Centre, etc? We are all Anambrarians and let the best candidate win; We don't need this silly quota stuff in the state. Secondly, if indeed Soludo is moving to APGA, then I'll say congratulations to all APGA stakeholders who engineered this move. The possibility of APGA remaining the ruling party in the state is now high again which could have been jeopardized by fielding someone from a specific locality that people don't like. 2 Likes |

Excellent news indeed! If this man wins, no state will be able to touch Anambra for developmental strides. I hope the Onitsha river port is up and running; electricity supply is stable, and the Orient refinery is operating by the time he's sworn in as Governor, so he can hit the ground running. 1 Like |

Oh Lord please let this true, we have in Charles Soludo the answer to the heart cry of many of us. If Peter Obi can pull this off, then he has done of the greatest thing and left a great legacy for us and entire South East, and it will be a foundation for only technocrats to be allowed in place of Laeadership in entire South East, enough of all these slow poke/ visionless leader. If Soludo joins APGA, I personally will campaign for him, with all that I have got. Ngige is my bros from the neighbouring town to my home town, he did a lot for us in terms of roads especially, but we need a man in the form of Soludo to take Anambra and entrie South East to a high developed imoportant economic region in this country. 3 Likes |

I'm not from Anambra State But I think Equity promotes Unity. Based on that, I still think the North senatorial district should produce the next governor. But If Anambrarians are OK with Soludo running, then they should give it to him and SUPPORT him Fully. Not what the north is doing to GEJ. As for Ngige, He should come and test the waters besides he was ahead of soludo in the last contest. who knows? any thing can happen. But more importantly for Ngige, He should leave the Senate for Dora Akuyinli. His victory at the senatorial contest against Dora was just a compensation by Anambra people. I still feel Dora would have been a better candidate. If this is not true,I think Equity should prevail. 2 Likes |

duality:So, we should sacrifice competence on the alter of equity and stability? If you're so keen on equity then is it also wrong to ask that the governorship be rotated between men and women, between the different churches in the state, between gay and non-gay? I ca go on and on. Rotation is just a form of appeasement and it's the state that will suffer if such is done. 4 Likes |

duality: You are talking nonsense my dear. Anambra is new to your concept of rotation. Anambra North which comprises of Onitsha, Ogbaru and its environs are already powerful. They are political heavyweights. Pls don't bring divisive politics to my dear state. 2 Likes |

Rotation of political posts is a very big issue in Enugu, Imo, Delta, Ebonyi, etc, but it is a non issue in Anambra until the advent of Peter Obi. Peter Obi introduced divisive politics to Anambra. |
