Hello guys, please i need your help.. I just got a techno phantom a+ from a guy..everything is working well except for the fact that when a caller calls in, they cant hear me but i can hear them clearly..also, i tried using the recorder option but it was not recording anything. Pls what could be wrong with the fone.. Any help/advise will be appreciated.. you can holla me on 08038048945 or 08029441693 Thanks ! |

Coolstan: your phone isn't an official Xiaomi device so naturally MIUI OTA updates wont work for you unless you do a port or use an unofficial version. Its has nothing to do with your cwm recovery and btw MIUI is based on android 4.2 not 4.3. Any 4.3 MIUI you see is a build.prop mod I used the miui port from seunpaynes blog. anyway I have solved the problem. it was a cwm issue. the cwm I used the mtkdroid tools to generate was version 5. I think for that version once the signature does not match, it halts the update process. I flashed a new cwm version 6 and that gave me the option to install update even after alerting me the signature does not match. so updates working fine now. thanks |
