Contrary to the statement by the minister of power prof chinedu nebo that Nigerians are now enjoying 18hrs of power supply per day, the case seems to be different in owerri, Imo state capital as citizens are are complaining that power supply is almost non existent! Reports have it that for the past one month now some areas only witness 2hours of power supply for a day, some 30mins some once every week!! A phcn staff that spoke on the condition of annominity said that this is due to the upgrading of egbu sub station located in owerri, as part of the national intergrated power project! But the question still remains for how long shall its residents remain in darkness?
