My brother, thanks a lot for the photos. However these are reposts. I don't want this thread to be filled with multiple images of the same picture.

Again, thanks for your efforts, but these photos are not african. We need only african photos, sub-saharan african photos to be precise from year 2010- till date only. Any photo before 2010 is not welcome here.

Again the last photo is a repost.

the greatest problem the country has is a deluded citizenry. They are so deluded to the point that they begin to sound uneducated, unelightened and completely FOOLISH.

I was discussing with a friend of mine in the hostel. I said it is a good thing the Govt is trying to diversify the economy. You know what this 400L chemistry student told me? Pls dont laugh. He said "what do you want to diversify in a single comodity economy?"

i was shocked by that reply. I took the pain to explain to him that the fact we are a comodity dependent economy is the reason we are diversifying but he repeated the same thing! I sighed and gave up.

So you can understand what i said at the begining of this post. You can also confirm this particular trend in many of the threads on this forum.

The worst thing is, they think they are the ones being real and the likes of us are the ostrich who buries its head in the sand thinking it has hid itself completely from people's view

If that isn't stupidi*ty of the highest order, I don't know what is? Oga souldust, you are the beegeagle's blogger who schools in ghana right?

It is very unfortunate that our country is filled with moro.ns who cannot think. It is more unfortunate that an adult in 400 level can make such an utterance. In all honesty, he ain't worth your explanation. In fact, he should re-seat his university entrance exam, as he isn't qualified to be in a higher institution of learning.

As you pointed out, look at nairaland politics section. The comments many members make in the threads are shameful. You get down there and the foolishness on display is epic. That's why I don't bother commenting on the main board of the politics section. It is more quiet and by far more intelligent here in the foreign affairs section.

""""The worst thing is, they think they are the ones being real and the likes of us are the ostrich who buries its head in the sand thinking it has hid itself completely from people's view""""

This above is the crux of the problem in the nigerian society. "Pull him down syndrome", "if I ain't doing well, then nobody else is mentality". People do not provide constructive criticism, only hordes of insults. It is shameful.

I know we face challenges, but we cannot sit idly and criticise from the comfort of our homes, without doing anything to further our individual, collective aspirations of a better nigeria. A better nigeria becomes a reality when every nigerian plays his part to ensure that the fantastic nigeria of our dreams becomes reality. It starts by making the right decisions individually as nigeria is an absolute nothingness without nigerians.
