That is your problem, you twist issues.

(I) You said clearly that NNS Thunder had only 76mm gun and CIWS. Now you say it had missiles. Double speak.

(2) you said Nigeria currently has no missile vessel.

And yes, missiles can be fitted in hours in adverse situations. Please read my posts well.

Ships are not aircrafts. For ships, the missiles come packaged in quadruple launchers, ready to be fitted to the ships.

Fire control and weapons integration are not very necessary. Target coordinates can be acquired and inputed into the missile systems and missiles fired. Modetn missiles are Fire & Forget. They need no mid-course guidance to find and hit targets.

The problem is people commenting on issues they know nothing about.

So yes, missile launchers can be fitted on ships in hours. And armed snd ready. Ships are not aircrafts.

1) It had missiles when it was in service with the US coast guard not when it entered service with the NN

2) Yes that's correct, currently The NN has no missile armed vessels

3) how do you think targets are found? How do you think targets are identified? How do you think targets are tracked?

The fire control and battle management system of a ship is much more complex than that of a fighter. As their are more systems that have 5o work together.

Your problem is Lack of Comorehension skills.

Yes, his perspective is defined by his nationality. I only said- I don't do SA vs Nig arguments. Simple.

You need to upgrade your comprehension skills.

And I am Correct. Ships can be fitted with missiles within hours.
how is my perception defined by my nationality?

I am trying to educate you bro. Read my posts and learn.

(1) I spoke of fitting missiles in adverse conditions, not peacetime.
(2) Nigerian navy has other missiles you do not know of. The ones you know of have been destroyed.
(3) it must not take months to rearm Naval ships, they are not merchant vessels.
1) what missiles are you going to fit? And where are you going to get them in a few hours?

2) like what missiles? Indulge us

3) To do it properly it will take months.

Don't cover up. The posts are still there.

(1) I said the Thunder, when in US service had missiles, you said No. Go back and read.

(2) Nigeria has no missile vessels. Attack Nigeria and see.

(3) A navy ship already has its radar. We are talking about outfitting a naval ship, not a merchant ship. The Thunder, Unity and co are already naval ships with radar and tracking abilities. Fitting missiles would be easy.

(4) In adverse conditions, fit your missiles and fight. Forget software jargons.

1) And?

2) why? Stop making this a Nig vs SA thing

3) is the radar integrated with the missile systems? Does it even have a targeting and tracking system? Is it integrated with the missile system..... The answer for all is no.

4) Ok wink

P. S only NNS Aradu can be fitted with Otomat mk1 missiles quickly as her battle management system has already been integrated with those missiles however her systems are obsolete hence why she is being converted to a patrol/training ship

US #DSCA announces possible excess defence article sale of 4,569 #MRAPs to the #UAE in a sale worth up to $556 million, package consists of MaxxPro and Caimans.

Why would the UAE need such numbers of MRAPs?

You don't need to know. There are weapons are extremely classified.

Nigeria's Otomat missiles have been destroyed.

I thought you said you know more about Nigerian military than me. But you still think Nigeris uses old Otomat missiles. Abeg swerve.

Some people just come here to run mouth. Talking about weapons that have been destroyed.

New missiles acquired to replace old missiles, with intense trainning of officers to handle all scenarios.

They are unaware, but they say am WRONG and that they are educating me. Lol.

Now, I am educating them.

Ehen? You think those lunch boxes on aradu are empty? I know the navy destroyed some missiles, they were the ones on board the FAC, that have been removed long time ago, we don't have any new missiles, because of threat projection doesn't call for it......the problem with aradu is the hull and propulsion system.....the weapons, well I'm not sure all....can fire from the shore.....but taking it on combat patrol, is out of picture.
