Centrifude: There's a whole bank of them; what you see in the photos is just my section. It's the Chaka Command and Control system Centrifude, integrated with Impi Blue Force Tracker. Essentially the whole "battlefield" is on there, as well as every single vehicle, every exercise scenario and every mission, right down to field kitchens. It means higher has eyes on every single detail of the exercise in the field C&C HQ. The guys at JOps in Pretoria also see the same thing. 4 Likes |

Centrifude:In a place where people work with computers, it is not surprising to have computers at every desk. Those desks don't look like permanent offices, therefor it is best to use laptops there than desktops. It is just the same as when you go to some computer science classes. See that place as a makeshift cyber café. |

africaken: There is no evidence we are receiving American attack Helicopters for COIN, excerpt they are surveillance assets like the King Air. If actually Nigerian leaders went ahead and purchased American Attack Helicopters despite American complicity in Nigeria's COIN efforts, then Nigerian leaders and Africans in general really have a long way to go, and would continue to be enslaved by western governments. Until there is evidence, there is no prove that Nigeria is getting American Helicopters for COIN. |

Henry120: I even read from a defense blog on my twitter that an american legislator that what nigeria needs is COIN training not hardwares or military training . SSTEP only spent 60 days training the 72 mobile strike force and there was a giant strife in the way they handle COIN operations, to me I say to hell with the western training and there military hardwares afterall we are paying for them not that they will be dashing us ! 1 Like |
