Chartering is for us lesser mortals, with zero heavy/strategic airlift.

Most probably UN will pay for it / provided by UN

It's a long haul , no point using own lifters , already fleet overburdened & regarding IL76 best to conserve the airframes and spares given the war in Europe

That registration was temporary, as the aircraft were acquired 2nd hand from Israel.
Therefore, that photo was taken before registration was transferred to Nigeria.

Africans for now just need to stay neutral and reap benefits from Europes resource shortage.

Is there any way how to search for pictures or certain key words on this forum? I don't want to go through every single page of all 2700 pages, specially when there is heated debate on every third page

You can search keywords. There are a couple military photos from Zimbabwe and Angola, but I really doubt you'd see much for the DRC.

That's it's secondary role. However a ship of this nature would have played a significant role for Nigeria during our initial Gambia deployment.

Yeah as with every other mission that requires showing the flag. Kada is a strategic asset and will really boost the NN standing.

Is that a 76mm naval gun or 57mm, it's not clear to me.

The Fleet is still in progress and I’m not allowed to disclose it’s full capabilities. I’ll give you a little taste in knowing that those subs want stand a match against Nigeria’s Subs who are so stealthy they never show up on camera, radar, or documentation.

Long-range Surveillance Unit comprises of highly and equipped personnel to accomplish the core tasks: of special reconnaissance,battle damage assessment , counter-terrorism, psychological operations (PSYOP), civil affairs operations,target acquisition, subbortage missions and information operations.
They can operate in small units of 4 to 6 operators
