Faithful007: According to him, most of the colours in the Nigerian Army have been used in multiple operations in various geopolitical zones of the country as well as foreign countries, hence deserving retirement and the presentation of new ones. “It is against this backdrop and in line with the traditions, customs and ethics of the Nigerian Army, trooping and presentation of colours parade 2023 will be conducted to retire torn or worn out colours. “A total of 81 units will, therefore, be participating in the parade; 53 colours will be due for retirement, while 28 will be presented to new units. https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/top-news/595070-buhari-to-unveil-nigerian-armys-new-regimental-colours.html |

INEFFICIENT evacuation with 1.2 million dollars to spend, u choose to decide who goes by state of origin ![]() Half the students are stuck in the desert and the other third are still in Khartoum because the idiot corrupt government officials did not pay the drivers. Fuqqing useless Nigerian armed forces, if its to take pictures, beat bloody civilians, do parade and press up, or kill IPOB or ESN protesters, you will see their long dicks with a hard on..... To simply send 4 of their C130 and "special forces" to evacuate their Nigerian students and embassy staff from a pre-existing neigbouring airfield being used by ALL the European countries in sudan to evacuate their citizens; they are suddenly IMPOTENT and are like Jack rabbits caught in the glare of oncoming headlights. Spanish armed forces landed 3 A400Ms and 2 VAMTAC ST-5 on the runway at Wadi Seidna military airbase in Khartoum during the evacuation of their citizens from Sudan. Even Kenya evacuated with their C130 but the GIANT of Africa's military Cannot even shake a leaf... No wonder Benin republic saw the weakness and decided to invite Rwanda to fight sahel militants at Nigeria's borders... lol 2 Likes

rugged7:Kenya is very close to Sudan, hence why they can send a c130 straight off on a flight but Nigeria is too far from Sudan and our diplomatic relationship isn't that tight, which is why we are taking them by buses to Egypt first before a flight to Nigeria. On benin, army hands is quite full for some countries that can't take care of themselves. We are salvaging Chad, Niger asses daily with their enormous lands with our nation's present insecurities. |

A "giant of Africa" must ALWAYS have a functional and dynamic diplomacy. Especially with a country that has been a passage for Nigerians travelling to mecca for 300years & thousands of Nigerian students. Every European country can land in Sudan and pick up their citizens but the "giant" cannot? Nigeria is next door to sudan after Chad; how is that far? Nigeria salvaging chad & Niger ![]() ![]() Benin is supposed to be Nigeria's 37th state. If u can't quench a fast developing Jihadi problem next door, then u deserve whatever conflict that spills over into your country. Nigeria's problem is corruption and gross incompetence...simple davefurn: 1 Like
