frumentius: thanks since it is a Metal Detection System , so my guess is it is looking for IEDS , mines etc so this merits another question regarding its installation at the back of the vehicle ? shouldn't it be at the front or am i missing something ? 2 Likes |

nemesis2u:Denel Mechem must get that question a lot. From the sales brochure: The draw-mat is towed behind the vehicle and can be configured to be drawn in the centre or to the left- or right side 2 Likes |

africaken254: Wow, so unfortunate for Kenya. Your new helicopter, so, so unfortunate. Agusta helicopters are always so prone to crashes, i don't know why this is. The AW139 is one their more advanced variants, a helicopter which according to Agusta is supposed to fly for 30 minutes without oil. 1 Like |

africaken254: It's so unfortunate. This is just an incident probably from pilot error or the inefficiency of Agusta AW series helicopter. The AW series is notorious for crashes and to think that the AW-139 is one of their more advanced versions calls into question the suitability of Agusta helicopters. Each large arm of a country's security service, if they can afford it, should have an air wing. The police has to have an independent air wing, to proffer otherwise is simply a non-argument. 1 Like |

Deway75: Our government has to. There's been a lot of talk, but no commiserate action to back up the talk. 50 vehicles would represent a very good start up haul. |

Nigerian private security IPVs. The vessels owned by local Nigerian private security companies are not navy property. However they are manned and guns installed by the Nigerian navy, and are deployed on specific duties, mainly escort, platform security, rescue.

Henry240: dont think i have seen the generals of the above countries with these. used google and found that they use something called swagger stick/ Malacca cane made of short piece of bamboo or rattan or what not safety wise your generals contraption is way better, because if any tired general makes the mistake of sitting on the swagger stick / Malacca cane it will surely puncture the generals ass big time. 3 Likes 1 Share
