Students' Union President Of Anambra State University, Comrade Casmir Obiakor was on 6th Of June 2013 kidnapped at the popular Igbariam Junction in Anambra state by unknown gunmen.

According to our campus Correspondent, the student leader was driving into Igbariam community where the school is located and was accosted at the junction by three unidentified youths, suspected to be cultists. He was blindfolded and taken away with the SUG bus to an unknown location for three days. While in their captivity Comrade Casmir Obiakor was made to release his ATM cards from which huge amount was withdrawn.

The President was however freed on the 3rd day without any extra ransom demanded from him or the school management but till date the Students' Union bus is still at large as the kidnappers supposedly made away with it.

This unpleasant incident which happened over two months ago, perhaps has been handled with kit glove as the students of the institution had been asking questions of the whereabout of the Union bus.

As at writing the report, our source exclusively informed GLeesMEDIA that the school management has long been informed but no official release had been made in that regard which has prompted different stories making round about the actual incident that led to the disappearance of SUG bus till date.

When Glees Media put a call across to the Vice President of the the school's SUG, she confirmed the story, adding that it has been reported to Awka Divisional police station. She stated that It's a white Toyota Bus,and on the body is written SUG Anambra State University Uli, Plate No. AN-53-A45. She however said the search is still on to get the car and that the school management is open to any clue that can lead to its recovery.
