[A popular Yoruba artiste, Tajudeen Akanmu also known as Koledowo, is dead. He died yesterday morning in Osogbo. According to report, Akanmu died at his family compound in Ita-Olokan area of Osogbo. It was gathered that the artiste developed an illness in the early hours of yesterday which resulted in severe stooling and vomitting leading to his death. Akanmu became popular in the early 90’s when he featured in Koto Orun,a popular Yoruba drama by the Ajileye theatre group. He was buried in the evening according to Islamic rites at his family compound.
