Come to tink of it, when u look at those names of those wanting his release, they still belong to the set of pple looting our resources, jst imagine a serving commissioner. Also U cnt blame those ordinary natives of oghara clamouring 4 his release, being that; they are illitrates, they see that d man did some tins in their town, fg has been doing pardoning and release of thieves and killers and finally he is their brother(blood is thicker than water). But this cannt continue o. We must do something. |

Billyonaire: I have learnt not to take apc on top someone else's headache. Ibori defrauded Delta State and it seems Delta State people still love him very much. If Deltans want Ibori sent to Nigeria, it should be done. But for the sake of justice he must remain there in prison till the expiration of his term. It should serve as a lesson to thieving Governors and those gallivanting from states to states in the name of Governors forum, instead of putting their a.s.s down and working their states to success. Oh my God! Are you for real? I never knew your blind support for GEJ is as bad as this. |

Did Vanguard just refer to Chief Ayiri as Niger Delta Activist? Well no wahala. As for those hired crowd, psychophants, and political jobbers, your day of retribution is right before your very eyes, its just that you are blind to see it. Fellow forumites, here are some issues to ponder on: 1. The EFCC Drags Ibori to court for embelzzlement of public funds, the DTSG states that no money is missing, 1+1=3, and Ibori is freed. 2. It was same Oghara people that protested that the Nigerian Government not arrest their son and 'leader'. He eventually fled the country. 3. He is jailed in the UK, that's long after his wife, lawyer, mistress and relative are sentenced in the UK for the crimes they did commit in Nigeria. (laughs) 4. Uduaghan and the DTSG want the money Ribadu claims Ibori sent as bribe to him, currently in the custody of the CBN and the matter being in court. 5. For years running Ibori's birthday has been celebrated in his absence with the support of the DTSG, officers of the state government and the like minds of Ibori. 5. Some of the projects uncompleted by Ibori, are to this day uncompleted by his cousin - Uduaghan. Painfully enough the feeler you get is that Ibori is preffered to his maternal cousin - Gov. Uduaghan. WE AS A PEOPLE NEED SERIOUS MEDICATION! |

deandavid: When i hear comments like this, i begin to wonder if these politicians are really our problem or rather the masses There is something you dont know. That is why you are wondering. Here it is. Ibori is not worse than any former state chief executive. His suffering is political. He is serving Obasanjo's sentence. |

deandavid: FG urged to facilitate Ibori’s release from London jailIt is indeed true dat power does not corrupt but it brings out the corruption in us. How can D people of Oghara urge the Nigeria govt to help release ibori?. Well two facts comes to mind: -d said thief is from Oghara -he was once a corrupt youth like those clamouring for his release. . . Lagbaja I hail u on dis one. . We're all MUMU in MUMUDOM! |

deandavid: When i hear comments like this, i begin to wonder if these politicians are really our problem or rather the masses. Is it not from among the masses that politicians come from? When the masses are ready for progress, the politicians too will be forced to perform. Ibori was only a petty London thief/shoplifter/criminal. He only became a big thief in the enabling environment of Naija. |

I've said it before on a previous forum, I know many of you don't know especially if you are not from Delta state, but the truth is Ibori did a lot of development. That is just a fact. It dose not take away from the fact that he was also corrupt but he did do a lot for Delta state. I can understand why his people venerate him. When you've had no development at all for decades, a little seems like a lot. |

The scenario is fraught shinanigans and behind the scene manipulations and leaves me with adumbration that may not be veracious. Therefore,i will recline in my swivel chair and hope the scene do not turn orgy. Soon,Al-Mustapha-Alams.campaign Pooster for president and vice president respectively will flood the country come 2015. |

The people from that part of the country are just like that. To them their son is just being a victim of political crossfire. But I tell you there is nothing like corruption as mush as the person is settling them with their own share of the loot. Whether he does well in office or not does not matter to them. they will tell you it our our region and our money. just give them some money and organize parties for them regularly you are settled. |

Aarenaija: The people from that part of the country are just like that. To them their son is just being a victim of political crossfire.. Stop generalising. Which part of Nigeria do people not play victim and play ethnic card? Is Abacha's son not aiming for political office up North? Is Bode George an outcast today in the West? I have not heard of Ette or Bankole being lynched in the West. In a country with so much hunger and moral bankruptcy, you will always find praise singers. |

Aarenaija: The people from that part of the country are just like that. To them their son is just being a victim of political crossfire.I am sorry but this happens EVERYWHERE in Nigeria. The AL-Mustapha that the Northern youths worship was he not corrupt? In 2003 did the Yoruba not rally around OBJ even though he was a corrupt failure? You go to Kano and try speak bad words about Abacha. That's just the way Nigeria is. All the ethnic groups defend their own |

if he had committed the crime in Nigeria, i am sure his kinsmen will take it from another perspective that it's politically motivated but now that the crime was committed in London, they still fail to understand that their son who have served jail term in Nigeria prisons before becoming Governor is still a criminal. what a country! no doubt, the masses also contributes to their problems too. Poverty stricken kinsmen!, who knows how much they have illegally benefitted from this man when he was there as their Governor. |

Useless people see dem as dem they like criminals on wat ground are u calling for his release? Someone who clearly stolw billions of naira while in power, was tried, found guilty and sentenced has not even spent up to 2 years in detention only for these mendicants to call for his release! Com'on dis is crazy!!! Am not even sure if the time for payroll reviewal is come even! He should spend at least more 5ive years in detention only then can the government consider his release! Am sure he is in one of the luxirious prisons in london where adequate gadgets are providd for convicts, what dis guys should be advocating for is a transfer of prisoner so he can be transfered to kiri to have a taste of prisonship in nigeria, as simple as dat!!!! |

After all they facilitated the political resurrection from death of Bamanga Tukur. They rehabilitated Mr Fix it Aneni, after Oshiomole has successfully put him to political irrelevant. They facilitated the pardon of the governor general of Ijaw nation- Chief Alams and washed all his sins away and made him clean. So why must a Saint like Ibori be allowed to waste time he could put into better use for GEJ 2015 fresh air campaign instead of a British jail meant for real criminals? Bode George returned with a fanfare and even traffic came to a halt as he leave Kirikiri prison. I am sure the day Ibori will come down, the earth will shake, as the people that matters in Nigeria tumbled upon themselves, trying to shake his hand, with a later state banquet organised in his honour by her majesty, Queen Patience of Otueke. 1 Like |
