A teacher, simply identified as Funmi, has been arrested in Lagos State for allegedly inserting a fork into a toddler’s private part.

The act was uncovered when the toddler got back from school crying and all efforts by the mother to pacify her were in vain. The mother was said to have taken her to the bathroom for a shower but the little girl wept profusely when she was about to wash her private part. The mother took a closer look but could not ascertain what was wrong until the child alleged the deed done by one of her teachers in school.

On getting to the school, situated around Ilupeju, all the teacher denied. They were all later paraded before the toddler to identify the culprit and she pointed to Funmi as the perpetrator of the act.

The case was charged to a special court after medical examinations proved that the little girl’s hymen was broken.
