” The suspected killer of the wild animal was arrested on the spot at 1 :am . The animal is an endangered species, we have them limited, if care is not taken they may go into extinction. We don’t want to be sanctioned by Wild lives activists, United Nations Prohibition, among others." Here we go again!!! LOL!!! Nigerians try too hard to appear informed and educated, but at most every action they take, ignorance shines through!! Who says African elephants are endangered species Don't get me wrong sha oo. I'm a huge fan of wildlife and detest such acts with all my heart. 1 Like |

How come commissioner in the forest by that time.He must be very serious with his work. However i plead on behalf of the hunters for mercy after all some members of boko haram were caught and granted amnesty. Let the forest guards be more active to prevent poaching and not after arresting culprits after the harm is already done. |

Tolexander: The commissioner is very bored and had to arrange few reporters from Iwe-Iroyin media parlour to give him an attention-grabbing publicity. He must have increased the egunje to ₦10,000 per hungry reporter for this, obviously mendacious, story to be published. |

Wild animals still roam many forest in Nigeria especially the southern nigeria, from the SS to SE and SW. There have been many encounters with wildlife in OYO state especially, once it was report that an hyena or some other wild beast was killing sheeps in an area of Ibadan. Our "hunters" are not relenting too anyway, the demand for "bush meat" is high and they are still on the look out for any surviving wildlife to hunt, its a shame on us. White people always have to tell us what to do. 1 Like |

Humans!! Some people can so kill anything for money sha. How can you kill an animal in a reserve? They better prosecute them before nigeria gets prosecuted cos it was reported days ago that elephants tusks, leopards skins and other stuffs were shipped from nigeria to one of these asian countries 1 Like |
