Dont get it twisted, there is no power in fasting itself, it only keeps the flesh under ('cos it tends to draw us back many atimes) n help u spend more time with God which is where the power lies. This is the reason fasting without adequate time with God is just an hunger strike.
We make the mistake many atimes when we pray thinking we can make God do what He might not otherwise do, and quicker at that. God doesn't change n no amount of prayer can make Him do what He doesn't want done. We only pray to make manifest what God intend to do, for there are external forces that many atimes prevent it (strongholds).
Coming to the timing, no prayer can also alter the timing, for our timing is different from His and He does His things at the fullness of times. This is the more reason we should be filled with Holy Ghost n in tune with His will always, so we won't pray amiss for that is what we do many atimes.

Fasting is onli d meal of d soul..it hs no effects on prayers..praying wit an open mind n wit total submission is all u need for quick answers..
