How to Effectively GRASP God's Word -3ways

1.) STUDYING:
to study is to work at what we read with the purpose of understanding, retaining and utilizing the information. As humans, we retain only 50% of what we study. One difference between reading and studying is that, when we read, we only scratch the surface but when we study, we dig into hidden treasures. Fresh revelations received while studying is recorded. It involves asking and answering questions when we read. We compare one verse of the bible with another and learn all that we can about it.

STEPS
* Fing a good study spot: this should be a comfortable place but not too comfortable so you won't fall asleep. It should be quiet.
* Manage your time: spend at least 30minutes studying the bible daily.
* Create a study plan: make a realistic study plan. 1 to 2 chapters of the bible daily. Find a way to follow through your plan.
* Take notes: note verses you'ld like to remember.
