1 shortblackboy: how will civil unrest benefit us ? take a look at all the so called arab spring countries they are still wallowing in anarchy till now. violence only begats violence. if u want change let it be constitutional go to the polls and vote the right people and don't let tribal and religious sentiment influence ur decision... I don talk

my brother, dis is nt a matter of civil unrest nd neither is it a matter of any violence begating violence. What happened in Egypt is peaceful protest (fihting 4 what u think is right in a peaceful manner, atmosphere absent of violence) leading into violence. How many times have nigerians come together nd hold a peaceful protest with one voice telling our corrupt national assembly thiefs nd govt that they are wrong when we feel that they are very wrong nd corrupt so they will get it into there skull that the positions they hold is nt there fathers throne nd they are meant to serve nigerians, giving us basic amenties, gd nd quality educatn, providing quality electricity, provide employement, provide secuirity etc instead of sitting there making no change nd nt even thinking at all 4 d sake of Nigeria and getting big on huge salaries nd allowances which are d hard earned profit from resources of this great nation. D market women did it in egba against alake at a time in our history. It indeed worth a try bt there is very high probability dat d protest will lead to violence nd d issues covered in decades will arise again. If we are nt careful, Nigeria will nt b d same again. I don't think it will get to this level sha if d whole Nigeria can speak nd protest with one voice. It needs to b properly planned since we are heterogenous. So dat north will nt later b speaking arabic nd east money while south french. Bitter truth.

Egypt continues to prove my point that Violence revolution is never the best option!

Wasn't it yesterday they were doing this same thing to a previous leader? Now fast forward; The same thing is happening again. That should tell them, the 'tyrant' blood is in the people. Hence, they need to 'rebrand' themselves as a people first; to get a good leader.

Okoro2015: Muslim Brotherhood with their extremist ideologies. Kudos to Egyptian millitary (Mind you they are Muslims but with liberal thinking). Nigerian Millitary should replicate same here, from Maiduguri up North, Through to State of Osun in the West.
Wetin happen to the State of Osun? The state is very peaceful na. Why should the military go there? Answers Demanded!

Better; let dem clear those terrorists called "Muslim Brotherhood"!!! They've already lost credibility and confidence in Egypt...They've been warned to stop their unpopular protest; anyway they deserve what they got. Whether they like it or not Egypt remains a secular state. They don't want to be islamalized like Iran or Pakistan. Even SaudiArabia is in support of the present Egyptian govt because they consider MB as a terrorist organization. Lest we forget; they were the ones that assassinated President Sadat. No room 4 extremism...oya nxt person is Senator Yerima!!

Warned by who? An illegitimate govt. No matter the situation, a coup is still a coup, and it's illegal. I don't even have problems with them. My grouse is with the high-handness that the protesters have been subjected to.

Did President Morsi a candidate of the Muslim Brotherhood rig the election that brought him to power? Egyptians voted for him and if they were not comfortable with his policies, the right thing to do is to wait for another general election and vote him out and not to use the military to truncate a democratic elected government...Unfortunately,Egypt will never be the same...Obama is no better than Mugabe or Saddam Hussein for failing to protect a democratically elected government ousted by a military junta.

Since the day the coup I knew egypt will never b the same. As long as there are anti morsi supporters, you will have pro morsi as well. The mIlitary carried out d coup because they say they listened to the voice of the people ie anti morsi, now why are they not listening to the pro morsi camp? Calling the muslim brother hood extremists is a convenient way to legalise the killing even though most pple can't tell you how extreme are they.

Anarchy and removing a leader illegally won't never solve anything. Like someone said, morsi should have been allowed to fail and voted out. I don't like pdp and Gej but will Never support is removal from office illegally. Let it be done through election, that way his supporters won't have any right to claim injustice in any form

MOFO stop complaining about the government then, a soldier will rather DIE fighting to save his wife who is about being raped because it is enough shame for him to be with a woman who has been raped right in front of his eyes..that is what Dignity is all about, if you cant fight for what you have, then dont complain because it has already became history since the day you sold your right and stand being a citizen but rather you choose to be a coward.

You are wrong. What has their protest achieved so far? New universities? Better roads? More teachers and schools? Better health care services?
Don't deceive yourself, Egypt was better before the protest against Hosni. Can You resurrect those that died in Egyt? That is irredeamable loss. Go and learn from Lbya
