A thug jailed for holding a mother and daughter at knifepoint has been posting photos of his 'easy' life behind bars on Facebook.

The pictures show violent Sonny Barker, 20, who was jailed for eight years for aggravated burglary, posing shirtless in his cell at HMP Rochester in Kent - with a Playstation 2 console and television visible in the background.

Barker - who posted pictures taken on a BlackBerry camera despite the fact inmates are not allowed mobile phones - bragged in one online post that he 'had it on smash' - prison slang for an easy life.
