Why is he so keen on clearing the way for his SSG under the guise of Anambra North gambit?
Fraudulent governors are fond of that antic. It is now common knowledge that if you have something to hide, you must put your 'yes man' in place so that he won't divulge your secrets to predatory political foes, in the case of Obi, his arch enemy Ngige.
Obi would do everything in his powers to frustrate the emergence of Ngige, Soludo or anybody that is not of him, as governor. This is what he did in a nutshell:
1 - Over blew the deportation scandal to "kill" Ngige's party in
anambra. 70% succeeded

2 - Convince Soludo to join APGA so as to make it easy defeating
him during party primaries or denying him ticket. 100% succeeded

3 - Play the politics of rotation to confuse the masses, by going
around preaching that anambra north deserves it. 80% successful.
I made two conclusions the moment I read about Soludo leaving
PDP.

It is either he was too naive and foolish or his handlers are
stupìd. In Nigeria, most governors would like their SSG succeeding
them, cos that is the only time they are assured their secrets won't
go public.

Well, there's an issue of who owns the Intafact and Sabmiller breweries in Onitsha. Anambra state or Obi? Because sources say Obi collects the revenue from the breweries while documents say that Anambra owns the breweries. There are many issues waiting to be resolved.
What does he have up his sleeves?

Dude, the bold part is my idea, and editing or reproducing it without making reference to the author or source is call plagiarism which is another form of theft.

If you must use it, why can't you atleast state the source or give credits to the owner?

The real nature of Obi is being gradually revealed.

He lacks substance and whips up emotions to cover his inadequacies.

When El Rufai analyzed his state, just like he did to some other states, Obi said the analysis was an insult to Igbo race. He didn't address the issues.

When Fasola sent homeless destitutes to Anambra, the same thing which Obi himself and some other governors had done, Peter Obi totally tribalized the issue which could have been amicably resolved. He didn't disclose that Fasola wrote to him and that his action, ostensibly to create problems for Ngige's APC in Anambra, has created problems for Igbos in general.

Obi seems insecure and runs away from issues. He has totally submerged APGA in PDP and is contented to remain in Jonathan and PDP's shadows. This timid strategy is neither good for Anambra (or the Igbo race) nor for APGA.

Obi doesn't want a strong successor like Ngige or Soludo.

Peter Obi can't stand shoulder to shoulder with any of Soludo, El Rufai or Fasola. That's the truth so he avoids them by tribalizing issues or zoning the governorship.

@OP, some of the ideas in your post do not belong to you.

Give the credit to whom it is due.

Peter Obi should BAN Okada (Motorcycle taxi) in at least Onitsha. Criminals have been using Okada to rob passers by. It makes passing through Onitsha a hellish thing for a woman. .

That man is probably the most devilish of all Nigerian governors.....what makes that even more dangerous is that his look and voice doesn't betray his real kind of person...

^^^That website contains old pics/news, and was last updated in 2006!

Though it's easy to stop these pics being touted as the latest of Onitsha, by a proactive Onitsha resident going out with a camera and snapping pics at the same spot and of the same buildings; this will be incontrovertible proof that things have improved. I don't know why it's not been done yet!

I just want to believe they are old pictures and article. That can't be allowed to happen in a city where people pay their taxes and we shouldn't hide eyesores like that because if we do we will be harming ourselves.

We have to get the basics right as human beings.A governor that allows that to happen in his/her state wouldn't be capable of running safe piggery.

Hand what to him. lets save that for the day the election result gets anounced. At least, now that it is clear that obi's outburst against lagos deportation was not for genuine sympathy for his people, but he rather saw ndiigbo suffering as a political tool. Ngige will have to drum this into the head of our people. anambrarians still have fond memories of ngige's midas touch in anambra, ngige's grassroot support is massive, he just has to drag Obi into that deportation saga, by exposing him as an insincere and selfish woman that he is, with soludo out of the way, ndi omanbala will have no better option.
