Do you think it's efficient to be creating new User ID's on every website you go? I don't. I have so many user ID's for so many different websites that I've lost track. Just the other day I recieved an email from a website I signed up for way back in 2008 which required me to login and, naturally, I couldn't remember either my username or password. Today you can login to a million different websites using just your Facebook ID (with Facebook Login), removing, thereby, the unnecessary hassle of having to remember a million different usernames and passwords. So if this is the case, why do web developers (*coughSeuncough*) not incorporate this in their code? I believe having a unified ID across the web is a good thing as it helps keep track of your activities (except if you are a criminal then bully for you). |

I suppose most Nairaland members want to be anonymous. From your post history, I'd have thought you'd appreciate that. |
