ONE YEAR OF THE NEW FACE OF IMO
This is no sycophancy, Governor Ohakim, no doubt is a visionary and courageous leader. He is exactly what we need in Imo state now. The clean and green project is a revolutionary project intended to set the state W.W. Rostow’s stage of take off, such creative ideas are hard to come by among our contemporary leader in Africa. No wonder why other copy-cat governor followed in Ohakim’s footstep.
I strongly believe the clean and green project won’t pass the test of time unless the governor and his aids inject the basic of every development. Education should be the central nucleus of government project. That is formal, informal and non-formal education. The desire to face off the commercial motorcyclist would either meet great obstacle or resurface at the long run unless government initiate suitable and qualitative non-formal education for the operators not just any kind of skill acquisition programme, no! Government should partner with the private sector to start up real time small and medium scale industries that will develop the cognitive and psycho-motor skills of the participant.
