This is something i noticed recently.I do not understand why people frown their faces when praying.Maybe if they dont the people around may think they are not praying or something.Why do u think people do this??

my thoughts exactly.

I'm humbled and meek in prayer. I don't frown. When you talk to your father, you don't frown but you show respect and humility. Perhaps, it's your own interpretation.

Catholics don't do that, except the pentecostal churches.

Can you blame them?
Most of them dont have money to feed or send their kids to school. Problems from all quarters both physical and "spiritual" weigh them down.
Then they come to church hoping to find succour and what do they see?
Their GO living large and looking well-fed in sharp contrast to them.
If na you, you no go frown?

I don't think those who do it do it consciously. They might just be overwhelmed by their problems

I even smile sometimes...especially before the Blessed Sacrament.

How I wish all Christians knew that it should be a love affair between us and God. Perhaps they frown because they are demanding something they want at all cost.
