I started my modeling career in 2006, but before then, I hadn’t thought much about modeling until my friends encouraged me. They asked me to accompany them for a photo shoot and they urged me to participate, I actually did it for fun. I had never thought of myself as the photogenic type, but the photographer was very impressed; he took my photographs along with my friends’ own and presented them to agents. I got two modeling jobs before my friends; in addition, a particular agency took all of my pictures. This experience gave me the confidence to go into modeling.

In 2007 I represented Nigeria in Abidjan and won the black model award. In 2010 I won Mr Nigeria, that same year I represented Nigeria in Mr World contest and I was the second runner up (3rd place).

Before I signed up for the Mr. Nigeria contest, I already had experience and skills in modeling
