Church Battle by Oyinprince(m): 6:03pm On Aug 23, 2013 |
This issue is gradually becoming a territorial behaviour amongst believersall over the world. Let me begin by saying that Jesus did not come to the earth to preach religion neither was he here to preach denomination. Even the disciples...check about their ministry here on earth they never at any instance preached religion to men. They entered every place in the name of Jesus. The issueof religion came up when some group of people called Christian crusaders came together and developed norms that made it easy for them to worship God the way they want. They didn't stop at just developing these norms, rather they went ahead to pass these norms to their followers. Some rebelled some of these normsand resorted in coining their own norms that would suit them in their worship of Elohim. All these happened in the early years of the churchafter the first advent. These disparities were the reason several school of thoughts were moved to call Christianity a religion. But that's not true! Christianity isbeyond that. It is beyond a man looking for a way to satisfy God it is God living comfortably in a man. I said this because of the reactions Christians put up when they do business with other Christians. The one that got my attention more was when one of my friend in church did a business with a man(name withheld) attending one of thechurches in the town. For some reasons the business did not turn out well. The fault was really from my friend because he could not communicate with the client on time on the adjustments made in the deal. But what got me pissed was the way the man presented the matter when he came to the office. After lashing at my friend who already has accepted his faults from the start, he started saying thus: ''I thought you attend 'so so church', you people always feel you know the scriptures more than all the Christians in the world. Even your pastor! Is this behaviour what you guys do in *name of church witheld* ??''It could be any church. Some of you may have encountered such occasion. That's a wrong expression and if you do this please stop it!!! If the business did not go as planned, sort it out between yourselves and leave his church and his pastor out of it. His pastor of course will not teach him to be slothful inhis business. That may have shown up due to some personal shortcomings (maybe what he is working totake care of as a Christian). This and any statement of this tide shows that there is some sort of CHURCH BATTLE which has been in that person and he has been looking for opportunities to express himself. As a child ofGod, don't let CHURCH BATTLE be in you. It is an activity of the Devil to keep the childrenof God in permanent strive among themselves. Identify a fellow believer by the Jesus that lives in him and not by the church that he attends; and if by chance there is a misunderstanding please be a Christian at that time and discuss the matter between yourselves and generate thebest solution to it. Don't call his pastor into it in a derogatory manner. You may be angering the anointing of God upon his life without you knowing!
