I have noticed with dismay daunting challenges that students in higher institutions face every year while writing their research project/thesis. It is evident that supervisors/lecturers/instructors  either do not have enough time to properly guide their students/supervisees or not committed to doing that. This often results in poor research work and waste of enormous resources. Experience has shown that students usually have challenges chosing appropriate methodology, statistical tools, citation, review etc. Sometimes, students don’t have luxury of time to do a good research work or are lacking in knowledge in this area. Consequently, they need assistance.Besides, many students do not know the importance of research project or thesis that they are required to carry out. They don't know that a good research paper can fetch them money, fame and prestige even after graduation.A well-researched paper can even help in securing job in the future! They see research work as a mere academic exercise required in obtaining degree and nothing else. This thread is opened to encourage students/researchers having problems with their research project /thesis to share them with experts in the house. I hope to contribute my own quota but plead with others who are versed especially in empirical research to constructively proffer solutions to problems shared.
